large carved wooden rocking horse with glass eyes, arched neck, head tilted very slightly to left, pricked ears, flared nostrils, and mouth baring teeth (undefined), lower jaw sometime re-attached, remains of original horse-hair mane and tail, original paintwork (surface worn and some superficial cracks), old leather saddle (not attached), stirrup leathers broken and detached (one stirrup iron missing), on original wooden swing stand with twin turned pillars (with raised bead towards the top) and bevelled pointed side-rails, metal rockers (each with four fixing bolts), base of stand stencilled in black 'A & N C.S. Ltd London SW' (rubbed) and with the digit '6', height 122cm (48ins), body length 117cm (46ins), overall length 137cm (54ins) - Quantity (1)
