A Victorian oak canteen of Kings pattern flatware, The harlequin set comprising of maker's Chawner & Co, London, 1841 & Elkington & Co Ltd, Birmingham, 1887, comprising of 36 dinner forks; butter knife; 24 dessert spoons; 30 teaspoons; 24 table spoons; 24 fruit / dessert spoons; 3 sauce ladles; 2 sifter spoons; 2 gravy / basting spoons, sugar tongs, egg spoons, mustard spoons, each with engraved family crest to terminal, 'arm holding aloft a laurel garland', 154 pieces, weight 374.5 tr.oz., the box having two pull-out trays with blue baize lining and segmented compartments, measuring 22 x 15½in. (56 x 39cm.). * Condition: Flatware very good with very little wear, hallmarks good, some with little rubbing, box with split to lid, no key, missing one handle, tray handles missing or replaced.
