Gendje Kasak antik, Zentralkaukasus, 19.Jhd., Wolle geknüpft auf Wolle. Hochfloriger Kasak aus dem Gendje-Gebiet mit seltenem Vertikalstreifen-Muster. Besonders und auffallend ist hierbei die einzigartige Skorpion Bordüre auf himmelblauen Grund. Die Skorpion-Formen sind stark abstrahiert mit Augen, Schwanz und Stachel. Auch der Fond ist mit Skorpion-Motiven besetzt. DerUrsprung dieser Formen stammt aus dem 16.Jahrhundert von den frühen Selendi-Skorpion Teppichen.
