FIFA 50th anniversary continental 900/1000 gold medal by Peka, issued in conjunction with the 1954 World Cup in Switzerland, obverse with a footballer in relief and surrounded by inscription  CHAMPIONNAT DU MONDE JULES RIMET EN SUISSE , reverse inscribed 1904  FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE DE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATON 1954 , inscribed  PEKA , of circular form, diameter 33mm., weight 27gr., not hallmarked but tested for gold and offered with a scan of the original sales document confirming the medal was 900/1000 gold and sold through the agency of La Banque Cantonale de Berne for 200 Swiss Francs in 1954, the document providing additional interesting information about the medal, in original case with inscription on lid in gilt tooling Condition of medal bears gold test spot on reverse below 1954
