6TH DAY, THE (2000) - SFX Foosh Pistol

6TH DAY, THE (2000) - SFX Foosh Pistol An SFX Foosh pistol from Roger Spottiswoode's sci-fi action film The 6th Day. Various characters, including Adam Gibson (Arnold Schwarzenegger), used energy-emitting Foosh pistols throughout the film. The weapon was designed by the legendary Ron Cobb and this SFX gun combined calcium carbide and water to produce acetylene gas, which produced colourful flashes from the exhaust ports on the sides of the firearm when the trigger was pulled. The pistol is made of metal and features "FOSS-HARVESTER" on the left side and the serial number "1105" on the other. The pistol has wear from production use, most notably discolouration next to the exhaust ports on each side, paint wear, and a chip on the faux switch on the left. Dimensions: 25 cm x 6 cm x 15 cm (9 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 6") Restricted ownership; see replica firearm notice in the Buyer's Guide.
